With over 100 years of floor laying combined, we at MRD are able to offer you a first class fitting service for your new chosen floors. 
Our Installers are fully trained in sub floor preparations and fitting of all different types of flooring we supply such as; Karndean, Amtico, Moduelo, Harvey Maria etc. As well as advancing our knowledge and training in our products, we also continue to look for new and improved techniques and methods of fitting to make your experience with us, a great one.

Preparation is key. At MRD we believe that this is arguably the most important aspect of any flooring related work. Upon a Site Survey conducted by one of our specialist installers, we will also check the condition of your sub floor if we are able to access it. We will then be able to advise what processes will need to be carried out to allow the flooring you have chosen to be fitted to our highest standards, ensuring that you get the most out of your floors.

For concrete sub floors, we recommend grinding the existing surface before screeding to give you a smooth finish, ready for your new floor to be laid on top. The image shows you a finished sub floor after screed being poured.

Preparing your sub floor requires only the best & certified products to ensure that you get a guaranteed perfect finish and ensures compliance with any manufactures warranties. This is why we use only Diamond grade SP101/FG1 plywood.
